Community Outreach
Walton Cares, our charitable organization, conducts events throughout the year in and around our home of San Antonio, Texas. Some of the organizations we’re proud to support include:
For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in any child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. Walton’s BBBS volunteers host a lunch with our “Littles” once a month, organize an annual Christmas party and have them out for our BBQs so we can make the most of our time together! Big Brothers Big Sisters is an incredible organization which benefits both the “Bigs” and “Littles” in unexpected and cherished ways.
Since 1997, Project Cool has provided heat relief to senior residents 60 years of age and older across the city of San Antonio through donation and free distribution of 20-inch box fans. Walton has been a proud donor of box fans to Project Cool as the summer months can be brutal and this is a great opportunity to provide relief to those in need!
The Elf Louise project began in 1969 and is dedicated to providing a little bit of joy to Bexar County’s less fortunate children. They have over 4,500 volunteers wrap gifts and deliver toys during the Christmas season. Walton has participated in The Elf Louise Project for the past several Christmas seasons and we look forward to participating again this year! The experience will touch your heart and remind you what the Christmas season is truly about!
